Crunch, the browser extension

What it does

• Notifications

  Desktop notifications ahead of a due date, at whatever warning times you pick, plus a daily summary and a badge counting what's due and what's missing.

• In Canvas

  A "due this week" panel on your Canvas dashboard, and a countdown on any assignment page.

• One-time setup

  One Canvas access token, pasted the first time you open it, and the settings page links you straight to the page in Canvas that makes one. Reminders keep firing whether or not you're logged into Canvas, which is the point of a token rather than a browser session.

• Stays local

  The extension keeps your Canvas connection on your own computer and talks to your school directly. This site never sees it, unless you press the one button in its settings that sets the Claude connector up for you, which says so before it does anything.

Setting it up

1. Install itOne click, then it opens and asks you one question.
2. Connect CanvasSettings opens by itself. Pick your school and paste a Canvas access token; the page links you straight to the place in Canvas that makes one. That is the only time you type anything.
3. Turn on Claude, if you want itOne press in those same settings creates your connector URL from the token you just saved, and hands it to you to paste into Claude. No second token, no second form. Skip it and everything else still works.
